This is a FrontPage template. In order to use it properly, you must open a new web using the template, then add in your own content. The template is designed to fit 100% of the viewers resolution, meaning it will expand and contract to the full width of the viewer's screen. This white section is the "variable" portion of the layout, so this is the section that will expand and contract according to the viewer's resolution.

Multi-Format

If you have a look through this site, you will see that there are a variety of ways in which this template can be used. We have the three column format which you are viewing on this page, as well as the two-column format (used for the Feedback Form and Table of Contents).

Include Pages

The lower horizontal section is an "included content" section. To edit that information page, go to the Folders list and open the file named "include_bot.htm". Make your changes on that one page and they will appear on each page of your web.

Color Choices

This web is one in our Chameleon series - you can change the colors in each of the table cells without sacrificing the integrity of the vertical navigation bar. Simply place your mouse in the cell you want to change the colors of, right click, and select "Cell Properties" from the pop-up menu. Change to the light background color of your choice, and save.

Flash Movies

We've also included a flash movie, seen in the upper left. If you don't care to use it, you can replace it with any of the three static images shown below, delete it completely, or replace it with any image of your choice 295 x 91 pixels.

You may duplicate this text box over and over for use in this column. Text boxes are a great way to draw attention to special items!

How do I...

Change "Your Name Here" - we have included, in the images/ directory of the new web you create with this template, a file named "yournameblank.gif". Simply open that file in a graphics program, insert your own logo and/or name, and save back to the images/design elements/ directory as "yournamehere.gif".

Change the names on the buttons - with the new web open in FrontPage, go to View, Navigation. See that "organizational-chart-looking" diagram of the files? That's where you will change button/banner names. Simply right click over the box with the name you want to change, select "Rename", and type in what you want to appear on the buttons & banners.
