Steve’s greatest joy in life is to paint the many wonders of the Great Smoky Mountains, with an emphasis on Cades Cove. His masters paintings take well over one hundred hours each to complete. During a showing and demonstration of his art at one of the galleries he was asked if he could complete a painting in less than an hour. Taking the challenge, he knocked out a very fast miniature in just fifteen minutes. That painting is the first one you will see on this page. Obviously it is very simple and rough. But it was fun for Steve.

Figuring he was onto something new (and might make a buck or two!), he knocked out a few more in the days to come. This page is the result of that silliness that started with a passing challenge. It is hoped these little comic art pieces will bring a little levity and fun to the hearts of those who appreciate a good laugh, or a moment of easy distraction from a fast moving and impersonal world.
